We are excited to introduce you to the wonderful world of gymnastics at the Sunbury Branch of the Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA.   The GSV YMCA Gymnastics program is focused on providing high-quality gymnastics instruction with highly qualified coaches and staff.

 About Us

  The YMCA Bounders and Dragonz Gymnastics program is a USAG Member Club.  We are staffed by experienced USAG certified coaches.   We coach gymnastics with the belief that gymnastics builds character, self-esteem, responsibility, and a life long love of the sport, while maintaining a safe and secure environment.  We incorporate drills to promote balance, strength, coordination, endurance, teamwork and fun. 

    Our gymnasts work on developing their minds, bodies and souls through self-motivation, teamwork emphasis and appropriate group behavior.  The participants learn various routines incorporating dance and balance to build on previously learned skills.  The gymnasts are community minded as well, taking part in parades, community run events and shows. 

     We have a small pro shop selling leotards and gymnastics wear.  We are also able to order items through our supplier, GK Elite sportswear.  We also participate in Cash for Causes through Weis Markets and Stores.

     We take our responsibility to our customers very seriously.  It is our goal to the highest quality gymnastics program in the area and encourage a love of the sport to which we are committed.

We have classes that range from the Tiny Tots, ages 2.5 -4, through Tiny Tumblinas and competitive gymnastics teams for girls and boys.  We also offer a weekly tumbling class for those individuals just interested in learning or perfecting their tumbling skills.  .

The Tiny Tots, Kinderfit, Recreational Gymnastics and Tiny Tumblinas classes run on an 8 week schedule.

Tumbling with Pat runs on a 4 week schedule and meets Wednesday evenings from either 5:00 - 6:00 or 6:00 - 7:00.  Please call for more information or prices.

Tiny Tots: This is for 2.5 (if potty trained) to 4 year olds, the class  meets for half an hour.  There are several different days and times for this class.

Tuesdays 10:30 am OR 11:15 am OR

Tuesdays 4:00 - 4:30 OR 4:30 - 5:00 OR Thursday 4:15 - 4:45

The cost of the class is: Family - $28.00 Youth - $48.00 and Non-Member - $70.00

 

Kinderfit:  This is for 3 - 4 year olds and meets for 45 mins.  Wednesday at 4 pm. 

The cost is: Family - $32.00  Youth - $53.00 and Non-Member - $75.00

 

Tiny Tumblinas:  This class is 4 year olds and meets for an hour on Monday at 4 pm.  This class contains children who have been in the Tiny Tot or Kinderfit class or who show basic body awareness and and the ability to do an hour long class.

The cost for this class is: Family - $35.00  Youth - $60.00 and Non-Member - $80.00
